Ludlow, CA (March 13, 2025) – A tragic collision on Tuesday morning near Ludlow left two people dead and another injured.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred around 6:12 a.m. on westbound Interstate 40 near the Crucero Road/Ludlow exit. The accident involved a white semi-truck and a silver Dodge Caravan minivan. The impact of the collision caused the minivan to overturn.
Tragically, two people inside the Dodge Caravan lost their lives in the crash. Another individual sustained injuries and was airlifted by a CHP helicopter to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment. The extent of their injuries remains unknown.
