Madison, WI (September 18, 2023) – A motorcycle accident on Saturday night, September 16, 2023, claimed the life of a 30-year-old rider.

Around 7:30 p.m., police arrived at the intersection of South Whitney Way and Montauk Place.

The motorcyclist, heading north on Whitney Way lost control, struck a median, and got ejected.

Emergency services transported him to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Traffic on South Whitney Way resumed by 9:15 p.m. the same evening.

The investigation is still ongoing.
