Manchester, NY (May 7, 2023) – Two college students, identified as 21-year-old Olivia Moore and 21-year-old Francesca Ward, lost their lives in a fatal traffic accident in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 6.
Reports from local sources show the accident occurred when the vehicle they were riding in struck a guardrail on the north shoulder of Interstate 90 in Ontario County. The wreck happened just before 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, about an hour west of Syracuse.
Moore and Ward were pronounced deceased at the crash site by paramedics. Two other passengers, Reina Haga, 22, and Inesa Meshko Kosei, 21, were taken to Clifton Springs Hospital to be evaluated for injuries.
All four individuals were students at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. They were on the way to Toronto, Canada, at the time of the collision.
Authorities are investigating the details of the accident. No other information is available to report at this time.
