Manhattan, NY (February 8, 2023) – A pedestrian was reportedly struck and injured by a motor vehicle in the East Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan. Authorities reported the incident at approximately 9:38 a.m. on Wednesday morning, February 8th.
According to official reports, a pedestrian who has not been identified was struck by a car after entering the intersection of East 122nd Street and Lexington Avenue. The impact of the crash left the victim down in the roadway, and emergency responders were called to the area a short time later.
While at the scene, police, paramedics, and firefighters worked to assist the victim. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Their current condition has not been reported.
