Manhattan, NY (April 8, 2023) – The New York Police Department responded to a crash in the Gramercy section of Manhattan that left one person injured.
The accident was reported to NYPD at around 7:50 p.m. on April 8.
Official reports surrounding the accident show that a pedestrian was struck by an automobile on 1st Avenue. The incident prompted the police to shut down the road near East 18th Street.
The pedestrian suffered injuries as a result of the automobile collision. Medics were called to care for the victim on site. The pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital for further care.
The police department is currently investigating the incident.
