Manhattan, NY – Construction Site Accident on Madison Ave near E 42nd St Leaves One Hurt

Manhattan, NY (July 7, 2023) – A construction site accident reported in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.

At around 4:40 p.m. on July 6, the New York Police Department and New York Fire Department were notified that they were needed at the scene of a construction accident on Madison Avenue.

Reports show that a construction worker fell off of scaffolding in the area of Madison Avenue and East 42nd Street.

The worker suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The victim was treated on-site by EMS and transported to a local hospital.

The incident is being investigated.
