Manhattan, NY (January 3, 2023) – According to reports, a construction worker suffered severe injuries during a fall while working in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan. The incident happened at around 10:21 a.m. on Tuesday morning, January 3rd.

Authorities say that a construction worker was performing work duties when he fell approximately 15 feet in a confined space. Firefighters, EMTs, and police officials were called to the scene, where crews reported trouble accessing the victim but were eventually able to remove him from the construction site.

The worker was transported to a nearby medical center to undergo treatment for his injuries. He is currently listed in critical condition.
