Manhattan, NY (April 3, 2023) – Several people were reportedly injured during a major apartment fire that broke out in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. The incident occurred on Monday morning, April 3rd, at approximately 5:45 a.m.
According to authorities, emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Amsterdam and West 155th Street following reports of a fire on the 6th floor of a building. Crews arrived to assist those involved and extinguish the blaze.
Responding paramedics helped a total of five injured victims at the scene. The wounded parties were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Their present conditions have not been verified at this time.
