Manhattan, NY (May 12, 2023) – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on the Upper East Side of Manhattan at the intersection of FDR Drive and E 63rd Street on May 12th, at around 10:48 p.m. Emergency crews and the EMS immediately responded to the 911 report of the incident.
The police have confirmed that the injuries were severe, but their exact nature has not been disclosed. The situation was quickly brought under control, and the vehicles were removed from the intersection.
Eyewitnesses reported that the two vehicles collided head-on, causing significant damage to both cars and leaving them immobile in the intersection. The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident and have not yet released any further information.
