Manhattan, NY (February 11, 2023) – On February 11, a motor vehicle accident was reported on the Upper East Side of Manhattan that left at least one person injured.
At around 12:50 a.m., authorities were notified that a crash occurred on FDR Drive in the area of East 63rd Street.
The police and firefighters responded to the scene and closed off the intersection. Emergency crews remained at the crash site extensively as they provided assistance to the involved parties and worked to clear the road.
The injured victims were provided medical aid at the scene by emergency medical professionals. Those in need of further medical care were then provided transportation to local hospitals by ambulance.
The New York Police Department is actively investigating this collision.
