Subway Accidents in New York

Manhattan, NY - Man Struck by N Train on Manhattan Bridge

With one of the world’s most advanced public transportation systems directly under their feet, most New York City residents ride the subway every single day.

Only about 5% of the country’s population regularly uses public transportation. In contrast, 55% of New York commuters enjoy the benefits of the state’s huge mass transit system.

Although accidents involving subways or other forms of mass transit occur less often than standard motor vehicle accidents, they are particularly devastating when they do happen.

Regrettably, due to the fact that most of NYC’s mass transit is owned by its government, there are numerous obstacles that victims must overcome if they wish to receive full financial compensation.

If you were hurt in a subway accident, you will need an aggressive New York personal injury attorney to make sure that your rights are recognized, and your demands are respected.
