Manhattan, NY (April 6, 2023) – One man reportedly lost his life in an auto-pedestrian collision that occurred in the East Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan. The fatal collision happened on Wednesday evening, April 5th, at around 7:30 p.m.
According to law enforcement, a 62-year-old male pedestrian was crossing the intersection of Third Avenue and East 122nd Street in a crosswalk when he was hit by a northbound vehicle. The driver left the area immediately after the crash, and emergency crews were called to the scene within minutes.
The severely wounded pedestrian was transported to a local hospital via ambulance. Despite life-saving measures, he tragically succumbed to his injuries. At this time, there are no further details available.
