Manhattan, NY (March 7, 2023) – An auto-pedestrian collision that occurred in the Flatiron District area of Manhattan reportedly left one person hospitalized. Authorities reported the incident at approximately 7:33 a.m. on Tuesday morning, March 7th.
According to reports provided by local officials, an unspecified type of vehicle entered the intersection of East 28th Street and Park Avenue South, where it struck a person who was walking through the junction. Dispatchers were notified of the collision and immediately sent police and paramedics to the crash site.
Upon arriving at the scene, emergency medical technicians went to work assisting the wounded pedestrian. The victim was then transported to a local medical facility to undergo additional evaluation and treatment for their injuries.
