Manhattan, NY – Pedestrian Injured in Car Crash on E 60th St

Manhattan, NY (July 13, 2023) – At around 4:30 p.m. on July 12, officers with the New York Police Department responded to the scene of an accident that took place in Manhattan and ended in injuries.

According to officials, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking in the area of 119 E. 60th Street. The crash prompted the closure of the roadway as crews worked to determine what caused the accident to occur.

The pedestrian was seriously injured. Medical personnel responded to the scene to render aid to the victim and transport them to a local hospital.

At this time, the crash is being investigated.
