Manhattan, NY (May 14, 2023) – A pedestrian was hit by a truck in Manhattan on Wednesday, May 10. At approximately 3:45 p.m., emergency responders went to the crash scene on West 106th Street.
Sources say the incident occurred near the intersection of West 106th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. A pedestrian was hit by a Dodge Ram truck as it attempted to turn left from West 106th Street onto Amsterdam Avenue.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Reports show that the pedestrian had the right of way.
The injured pedestrian was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside for treatment. Police in Manhattan continue to investigate.
