Manhattan, NY (February 26, 2023) – A pedestrian was left injured following an accident involving a bus that took place on Thursday evening in Manhattan.
At around 5:55 p.m. on February 23, the New York Police Department and firefighters were called to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on East 60th Street.
According to officials, a pedestrian was struck by a bus while traveling in the vicinity of East 60th Street and 5th Avenue.
The pedestrian suffered severe injuries as a result of the crash. Highway CIS responded to the scene to provide assistance.
The pedestrian was aided on-site and rushed to an area medical facility for further care.
The New York Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
