Manhattan, NY (January 24, 2023) – Officials in the Tudor City area of Manhattan responded to the scene of an auto-pedestrian collision that one person injured on Tuesday evening, January 24th. According to authorities, it happened at the intersection of East 41st Street and 2nd Avenue.
Reports show that an unidentified person was traveling by foot, at or near the crossroads, when they were struck by a motor vehicle for undetermined reasons. Paramedics accompanied police and other emergency responders at the scene after 911 was called by an unreported party.
After arriving at the scene, crews located the wounded pedestrian down in the roadway. The victim was assisted by paramedics and ultimately transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment.
The victim reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the collision. Their present condition has not been verified at this time.
Authorities continue to investigate the events that triggered the collision.
