Manhattan, NY (March 19, 2023) – Authorities responded to the scene of a crash in the midtown section of Manhattan that left one person injured.
The accident was reported at around 9:40 p.m. on March 18.
According to officials, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on East 55th Street in the area of Fifth Avenue.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and shut down a portion of the roadway.
Paramedics tended to the victim while on-site. The pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital for further care.
The New York Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
