Manhattan, NY – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on 9th Ave near 14th St

Manhattan, NY (July 4, 2023) – On July 3, firefighters with the New York Fire Department and officers with the New York Police Department responded to the scene of an accident in the West Village.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 9th Avenue and 14th Street.

The pedestrian suffered injuries as a result of the crash. Police and firefighters closed off the roadway as emergency service technicians rendered aid to the injured victim. The injured pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where they underwent further treatment.
