Manhattan, NY (May 8, 2023) – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on May 8th, at about 1:46 p.m., at the intersection of Avenue C and E 11th Street in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan. The incident was immediately reported to the police via 911, and officers were dispatched to the scene.
Video footage captured by bystanders showed people tending to the injured pedestrian before the authorities arrived with an ambulance.
It is not clear if the injured pedestrian was taken to the hospital, and the police are yet to provide any information on the driver of the vehicle or the circumstances that led to the incident.
