Manhattan, NY (February 22, 2023) – An unidentified person who was operating an electric scooter was reportedly struck by a vehicle and injured in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. The incident was reported at approximately 10:34 a.m. on Wednesday morning, February 22nd.
Emergency responders were summoned to the intersection of W 173rd Street and St. Nicholas Avenue following reports concerning a scooterist who was struck by a vehicle. Upon their arrival, first responders located the victim down in the roadway and worked to provide medical attention and assess the damage.
Paramedics worked at the scene to help the injured rider who was then taken to a local Medical Center for further medical treatment. At this time, no information has been revealed regarding the conditions of the victims.
Investigators are working to determine the events that led to the accident. There is no further information available at this time.
