Manhattan, NY – Serious Accident on W 128th St near 8th Ave

Manhattan, NY (July 14, 2023) – On July 12, the New York Police Department responded to the scene of a serious collision that occurred during the early evening hours.

Upon arriving at the scene, at around 5:07 p.m., officers located damaged vehicles that collided on West 128th Street near 8th Avenue. The crash left the involved vehicles damaged, prompting tow trucks to respond to the scene.

Police and firefighters worked to clear the scene as some officers initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.

Serious injuries were reported in the accident, resulting in at least one person being transported to a local hospital for emergency care.

Investigations into the crash are currently ongoing.
