Manhattan, NY (February 19, 2023) – An injury accident was reported to officials in Manhattan on the afternoon of February 19. At approximately 4:00 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of the collision on East 96th Street.
Authorities requested multiple tow trucks for six disabled vehicles. EMS reported that ten individuals sustained injuries, however, no one involved has been identified.
The injured victims were treated and transported to local hospitals as needed by ambulance. Police in Manhattan continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
Traffic delays occurred in the area for an extended period of time on Sunday afternoon.
