Manhattan, NY (May 7, 2023) – Three people sustained injuries in an apartment fire in Washington Heights, Manhattan. The fire happened at approximately 1:00 p.m. on May 7.
Sources say the blaze occurred in the 500 block of West 190th Street. Firefighters responded to reports of smoke coming from a fourth-floor window. They arrived at the scene and confirmed the existence of a fire on the fourth floor of an apartment complex.
EMS were sent to the scene to render aid. Firefighters reported that a total of three people sustained injuries, however, their current conditions are unknown at this time.
The cause of the fire remains under police investigation at this time.
