Manhattan, NY (May 17, 2023) – A fire broke out at the Times Square Hotel on 255 W 43rd Street in Midtown, resulting in injuries to three people. The incident occurred on May 17th when a fire erupted on the second floor, believed to be caused by a steam leak.
Upon receiving the emergency call, firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and successfully brought the fire under control at 9:03 a.m. Fortunately, no individuals were trapped and in need of rescue. However, one firefighter and two other individuals sustained injuries during the incident.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) reported to the scene and provided medical attention to the injured parties. Meanwhile, the incident caused traffic blockages on W 43rd Street.
