Manhattan, NY (May 5, 2023) – A crash in the garment district of Manhattan left two people injured on Friday evening, May 5.
At around 4:10 p.m., a collision involving a gray car and a second vehicle took place on West 33rd Street. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to overturn on the sidewalk near 8th Avenue. One person became pinned inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters.
Two people were injured as a result of the crash. Medics responded to care for the injured victims on site. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
