Manhattan, NY – Two Injured in Traffic Collision at E 97th St & Lexington Ave

Manhattan, NY (July 8, 2023) – Two people were transported to area hospitals following a crash that took place in East Harlem.

At around 5:30 a.m. on July 8, the New York Police Department was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of an accident on East 97th Street.

According to official reports, a collision took place on the roadway in the area near Lexington Avenue. Two people were injured as a result of the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene to care for the injured victims before transporting them to local hospitals.

At this time, the car crash is being investigated.
