Manhattan, NY (September 18, 2023) – Seven people suffered injuries when a car drove into a crowd in midtown Manhattan on Sunday night, September 17, 2023.
All victims, including six men aged 24-61 and a 34-year-old woman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested the driver, a 29-year-old woman from Belle Mead, New Jersey, but have withheld her identity.
After hitting the crowd, she drove through the Midtown Tunnel into Queens.
There, she crashed in a three-car collision on the Long Island Expressway, which luckily led to no further injuries.
The driver remains in police custody for medical evaluation.
The investigation is still ongoing.
