Manhattan, NY (December 5, 2022) – On Monday morning, December 5th, a woman was taken to a hospital in Manhattan after being hit by a vehicle at around 8:34 a.m. Authorities reported the crash at the intersection of White and Lafayette Streets in Chinatown.
Officials say that a pickup truck entered the junction, where it struck an unidentified female pedestrian. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the woman in and out of consciousness.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital by responding EMTs. Her current condition has not been reported.
Authorities are investigating the events that led to the collision.
