Manhattan, NY (March 6, 2023) – According to reports, a chemical exposure incident left one woman deceased and three other people injured on Sunday, March 5th. The incident was reported near the end of East 56th Street in the Midtown East area of Manhattan.
Authorities say that a suspicious hazmat situation was reported, and crews arrived at the scene to find one female victim unresponsive inside a car. The unresponsive woman was tragically pronounced deceased at the site of the incident.
While at the scene, three other people, including two police officers, were reportedly injured by chemicals. Few other details are available at this time as no information has been reported regarding the conditions of the injured victims.
