Mankato, MN (September 18, 2023) – On Sunday, September 17, 2023, two vehicles collided at the crossroads of Southbound Highway 22 and Blue Earth County Road 26.

Around 3:47 p.m., a Ford F250 driven by Ross Joseph Pettit, 50, from Kasota, MN, and a Chevrolet Impala operated by Gavin Lyon Harrison, 24, of Mankato, crashed into each other.

Neither of the Ford’s airbags deployed, but the Chevrolet’s did.

Both drivers sustained injuries and received treatment at Mayo Clinic Mankato.

The investigation is still ongoing.
