Mansfield, OH (September 13, 2023) – A near head-on crash occurred between a minivan and a semitractor on Ohio 314 near Flowers Road on Monday, September 11, 2023.
Around 11:38 a.m., Miranda Jones, 41, of Ontario, drove her 2015 Toyota minivan northbound.
She veered left off-center on a curve, ending off the road’s east side.
In response, Anton Prenkocha, 53, of Dryden, Michigan, swerved his 2011 Kenworth semitractor, pulling a box trailer.
His vehicle hit a telephone pole and some traffic signs.
Springfield Township Fire Department/EMS took Jones to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital for her injuries.
Prenkocha remained unharmed. Authorities cited Jones for her veering.
The investigation is still ongoing.
