Mansfield, OH (September 18, 2023) – Early Sunday, September 17, a two-vehicle collision injured five on State Route 97 in Worthington Township.

At 12:49 a.m., a 2022 Kia Forte, heading southwest, veered left of center.

It collided with a northbound GMC Savana.

The Kia’s driver and a juvenile passenger sustained serious injuries and went to Ohio Health Mansfield.

The GMC’s driver was airlifted to Grant Medical Center, Columbus, with serious injuries.

Additionally, another adult and a juvenile from the crash were hospitalized at Ohio Health Mansfield.

Alcohol might have influenced the crash.

Several local EMS and towing services assisted.

The investigation is still ongoing.
