Marion, NY (September 19, 2023) – On Monday, September 18, 2023, at 10:26 a.m., a tragic accident occurred on Parker Road in Marion.
49-year-old Michelle Nesbitt, a Marion resident, collided with the back of a street sweeper.
Steven Taber, 55, also from Marion, operated the sweeper.
Both vehicles moved southbound on Parker Road when the crash happened.
Sadly, Nesbitt succumbed to her injuries.
Taber remained uninjured.
New York State Police, Wayne County ALS, and others assisted deputies at the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing.
