Marthasville, MO – Fatal Car Accident on Highway 47 Claims Union Woman’s Life

Marthasville, MO (July 13, 2023) – Priscilla S. Luke, 69, of Union, died in a fatal car accident on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report states the crash occurred at 4:30 p.m. on Highway 47 near Coventry Circle.

Luke was driving a 2015 Toyota Prius when a 2020 Ford Escape driven by 25-year-old Ellie Unerstall of Washington crossed the centerline and collided with her vehicle.

Luke was pronounced dead at the scene, while Unerstall was seriously injured and taken to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

Both drivers wore seat belts, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing.
