Mastic, NY – Traffic Collision Reported on Hawthorne St near Riverside Ave

Mastic, NY (July 17, 2023) – Emergency crews across Suffolk County responded to the scene of an automobile accident in Mystic that ended in injuries.

The Suffolk County Fire Rescue & Emergency Services was notified at around 2:00 p.m. on July 15 that an automobile accident occurred on Hawthorne Street.

Reports from authorities show that a collision blocked the roadway near the intersection of Riverside Avenue. Multiple law enforcement crews responded to the scene to provide assistance.

One medic unit was requested at the scene to care for injured victims and transport those who required further medical attention to local hospitals.

The accident is under investigation by the police in Suffolk County.
