Mecklenburg County, NC (September 19, 2023) – On Tuesday, a crash involved a Concord Police Department vehicle on I-485’s inner loop near Exit 47 to Lawyers Road.

The incident, reported by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, occurred shortly before 8 a.m.

By 9 a.m., the North Carolina Department of Transportation confirmed that all lanes had reopened.

One individual suffered injuries, as per Medic.

The causes behind the crash remain unclear at this moment.

The investigation is still ongoing.
