Melbourne, FL (May 19, 2020) – A fatal multi-vehicle accident took place on an interstate in Melbourne last Sunday evening.
The crash occurred around 10:00 p.m. on May 17 on Interstate 95 when a man in an SUV struck the back of a van, causing it to overturn on the side of the road. The SUV was still on the road when it was struck from behind by a sedan.
The force of the collision caused the SUV to catch fire. The driver of the SUV, a 40-year-old man from Rockledge, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
No further information has been released.
