Milton, NY (May 20, 2023) – A woman from Beacon, age 36, lost her life in an auto accident in Milton. The wreck occurred as she was turning into a parking lot to watch her son’s baseball game, sources said.
According to reports from authorities, the accident occurred when another vehicle rear-ended her at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Route 9W. She was identified as Kaylyn Touhey.
Preliminary investigations show the vehicle that struck her was being driven by a woman from Hopewell Junction, age 42. She pushed Touhey’s vehicle into the opposing lanes of traffic where it was hit by a southbound towtruck.
Touhey was taken to Midhudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie where she lost her life. The crash remains under local law enforcement investigation at this time.
