Minden, LA (September 19, 2023) – On Saturday, September 16, 2023, Kris Moore, 53, from Longview, lost his life in a motorcycle accident on I-20 eastbound, just past the Dixie Inn Exit.
Around 1:00 a.m., Louisiana State Police Troop G responded to the scene.
Initial findings indicate Moore, piloting a 2021 Harley-Davidson, veered off the road and collided with a guardrail.
Despite wearing a DOT-approved helmet, Moore was thrown off the motorcycle and died on the spot.
The Webster Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed his death.
Toxicology samples have been taken, though impairment isn’t suspected.
The investigation is still ongoing.
