Moniteau, MO (November 20, 2023) – A serious accident occurred on Route O, one mile south of Painters Road, injuring two men on Sunday, November 19. The incident, reported at 9:08 PM, involved a 2023 Kia Telluride.
Christopher L. Ferguson, 38, from Iberia, MO, and Marco A. Garcia Fuentes, 45, from Jefferson City, MO, sustained serious injuries. The crash happened as Ferguson’s vehicle veered off the right side of the road, overcorrected, then slid off the left side, struck an embankment, and overturned.
Both victims were transported to Capital Region Medical by EMS. The investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies is ongoing.
