Preliminary reports indicate that the accident transpired when a 2012 Ford F250, driven by 63-year-old Donald Hagedorn from Rhineland, MO, failed to yield to a 2016 Ram 1500, operated by 66-year-old Phyllis Happel, also from Rhineland, MO. The collision caused extensive damage to the Ford F250, which was towed from the scene by Hagedorn Towing. The Ram 1500 sustained total damage and was also towed by the same service.
Following the crash, Phyllis Happel reported moderate injuries and was transported to BJC Hospital in St. Peters by ambulance for further evaluation and treatment. The driver of the Ford F250 did not report any injuries.
