Buffalo, NY – Teen Bicyclist Struck & Injured by Hit-And-Run Driver

Buffalo, NY (August 12, 2019) – A teen bicyclist was struck and injured by a vehicle on Elmwood Avenue in the city of Buffalo early Monday morning, August 12. The accident happened at the intersection with Breckenridge Street at approximately 3:30 a.m.

Police stated that a vehicle, believed to be a black SUV, struck the 17-year-old victim on her bicycle from behind. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

After the crash, emergency medical responders arrived at the scene where they confirmed that the victims’ injuries were non-life threatening. Authorities are asking anyone with any information to please come forward.
