Las Vegas, NV – Worker Injured in Lift Accident at Allegiant Stadium

Las Vegas, NV (August 14, 2020) – A construction worker was reportedly injured following a boom lift accident near the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, located off of Interstate 15 between W. Russell Road and W. Hacienda Avenue. 

Local news reports that a 150-foot boom fell and crashed with a worker still on board. The construction worker was reportedly working on finishing up general repairs and maintenance o the exterior of the stadium at the time of the accident. 

Emergency responders and local law enforcement officials were called to the site of the accident to render aid to the injured party. The worker was reportedly still alert when authorities arrived at the scene and transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. No updates on the conditions of the injured party are currently available. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is being managed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
