Deadly Semi-Truck Accidents in Nevada
Thousands of people lose their lives in crashes involving semi-trucks each year. The majority of those killed in these collisions involve passengers of smaller passenger cars which are unable to withstand the impact of an accident involving a large 18-wheeler, a vehicle many times larger and often traveling at highway speeds.
A statistical analysis of semi-truck collisions in the United States found that nearly 5,000 passenger-vehicle occupants are killed each year. Another 700 big-rig occupants are also killed in these accidents. Those who have suffered the loss of a loved one in a deadly Nevada semi-truck accident should contact a qualified wrongful death attorney in order to pursue a claim for lost damages.
