Officials from the Nevada Highway Patrol arrived at the scene of the accident at around 10:50 p.m. Initial reports revealed that a 2000 silver Ford Excursion sport-utility vehicle was traveling toward Wells at the time of the accident. The deceased parties were identified as two West Wendover residents, 49-year-old Maria Taide Munoz and 80-year-old Maria Gonzalez. Two others were flown from the scene with serious injuries.
