According to reports, the accident occurred around 10:13 p.m. in the 1170 block of State St. Emergency responders from New Haven Fire Department (NHFD), EMS, and New Haven Police Department (NHPD) arrived at the scene. However, the motorcyclist reportedly fled on the bike before police later located them in the 40 block of Ridge St. AMR was requested to provide medical assistance, and the rider was found to have suffered a serious leg injury.
Authorities have not yet confirmed if anyone in the other vehicle was injured. The investigation remains ongoing.
