Albuquerque, NM (November 23, 2020) – Authorities with the Albuquerque Police Department say that a pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being hit by a motor vehicle in the city. The collision was reported at the intersection of Central Avenue and Tennessee Street at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Sunday night, November 22nd.

According to the APD, an unidentified 41-year-old man was walking across the intersection when he was struck by an unspecified type of vehicle. Emergency responders arrived to find the victim down in the roadway. He was breathing and conscious but seriously injured.

Authorities rushed the victim to the University of New Mexico Hospital to be treated for a broken ankle and head trauma. At this time, no further information has been reported.
