Madrid, NM (October 1, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with another vehicle on Wednesday morning, September 30th. The fatal accident was reported around 11:20 a.m. on Highway 14 near Madrid.
According to the New Mexico State Police, Kevin Ray Forsberg, 32, of Albuquerque, was traveling north along Highway 14 on a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle when a 2009 Dodge pickup truck made a left turn in front of him. Forsberg struck the passenger side of the pickup and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene a short time later.
Forsberg was pronounced deceased at the scene and the driver of the pickup, identified only as a 17-year-old male, was uninjured. The events that led to this incident are under investigation.
