Roswell, NM (May 8, 2020) – Officials with the New Mexico State Police reported to a crash that left three people injured on Monday, May 4th, in Roswell. The incident was reported at the intersection of McGaffey Street and Relief Route at approximately 5:00 p.m.
According to officers, a blue 2009 Scion XB operated by a 17-year-old female was traveling west along McGaffey Street when it entered the intersection. The Scion ultimately collided with a white 1991 Toyota Tacoma operated by 37-year-old Joshua Tubbs, of Roswell.
Medical responders transported Tubbs, as well as the other driver and a 17-year-old female passenger to a nearby hospital. The driver of the Scion was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way. The current conditions of the victims have not been reported as officials with the NMSP continue the investigation into this incident.
